Months ago, I thrifted a circular bamboo shelf from a local thrift store and immediately thought it looked pretty familiar. I then remembered a classic Crate & Barrel item (pictured below) that I have had pinned on my personal Pinterest board that I thought I could recreate.

Essentially all I did to upgrade my shelf was added height and a bottom shelf to replicate the inspiration & cover the sides and back with spare rattan I had from a previous project. I debated adding a door to it like the Crate & Barrel version but I decided that I would prefer to style it open. Lastly, I coated it in a layer of sand coloured paint to match my personal decor and voila!!
